Product Description

Working Principle of Disc Filter:

Filtration - water enters into the filter along the tangent of inlet, which forms a vortex and causes centrifugal force. Those large particles of impurities in the water will be thrown around to the inner wall of filter housing under the centrifugal force, which can reduce the interception load of discs, thereby decrease the cleaning times, so as to achieve energy-saving and emission-reduction and prolong the service life of filter. The water flow goes through discs from outside to inside, by which water pressure is generated and compress the discs of the filter to ensure the filtration precision.

Backwashing - clean water reversely flows into filter, goes through discs from inside to outside, and jets out from the holes distributed on the filter pillar; the water pressure disperses the compressed discs, water sprays to the dispersed discs along the green arrow in the picture, generating transverse rotary scrubbing and longitudinal tremble movement so as to ensure the thorough cleaning of discs. The backwash water is discharged from the drain at the red arrow.

The groove design of disc produces different three-dimensional pores during installation. The unique trench design have large particles intercepted on the outer layer and small particles intercepted on the inner layer, improving the intercept volume and reducing the backwash frequency.

Features:

1. Efficient backwash costs 10-15 seconds, and backwash water consumption is less than 0.2% of filter flow. It also has good filtration effect for viscous media such as oil and dirt. Scaling will not affect filtration accuracy.
2. Fully automatic operation requires only setting up the backwash pressure difference and backwash interval time. In the filtration system, when the backwash set requirement is achieved, the filtration and backwash take turns, so as to ensure the outflow without cutoff.
3. Standardized design and unit modularized design ensure the filter core and others adjustable, different amount of water, different number of units.
4. Energy saving and emission reduction. Unique centrifuge design has more water-saving, longer service life, smaller waterhead loss than traditional disc filter.
