The High Speed Centrifugal Spray Dryer is widely employed in liquid processing and drying. The high-speed centrifugal spray dryer converts suspensions, solutions, emulsions, and pastes into powdered or granular solids. The High Speed Centrifugal Spray Dryer is an excellent choice when precise control over final product characteristics - such as particle size distribution, moisture content, bulk density, and shape - is required.

Applications
The High Speed Centrifugal Spray Dryer is widely used in the industries as follows.
  1. Food & Nutrition: Amino acids, vitamins, egg/bone/blood powder, milk/soy sauce powder, proteins, coffee, tea, powdered sugar, potassium sorbate, pectin, flavorings, vegetable juice, yeast, starch.
  2. Ceramics: Alumina, zirconia, magnesium/titanium oxides, magnesium titanate, clay, china clay, ferrites, and other metal oxides.
  3. Chemicals: Polymeric aluminum, disperse/reactive dyes, organic/inorganic catalysts, white carbon black (silica), laundry powder, zinc sulfate, silicon dioxide, sodium metasilicate, potassium fluoride, calcium carbonate, potassium sulfate, various waste liquids.

  1. Hot Gas-Droplet Contact: Effective heat exchange requires sufficient hot gas entering the spray dryer's chamber. The gas flow direction and angle (parallel, counter-current, or mixed flow) must be optimized to ensure complete contact with atomized droplets.
  2. Atomization Uniformity: Consistent droplet size distribution from the atomizer of the spray dryer is very important, as it directly determines final product quality and yield.

Working principle
Operating on an open-circulation principle with centrifugal atomization, the High Speed Centrifugal Spray Dryer  processes air and feed as follows:
1. Air Handling: Ambient air is filtered (primary + medium efficiency), drawn by a blower, heated, HEPA-filtered, and distributed into the spray dryer's chamber.
2. Feed Processing: Liquid material is metered via peristaltic pump to the centrifugal atomizer of the High Speed Centrifugal Spray Dryer, generating a fine droplet spray.
3. Drying & Separation: Droplets contact hot air in the chamber of the High Speed Centrifugal Spray Dryer, drying along a controlled trajectory. Product is separated in a cyclone collector; exhaust gas is filtered and vented.
The system of the High Speed Centrifugal Spray Dryer is designed for easy, complete (zero dead-zone) cleaning in accordance with GMP requirements.
